Hey, fellas! This time, I will post a topic about a part of what I like in English (while improving my English hehehe ;p). Cause before this post, I've posted my tasks, or we (colleger of Gunadarma University) usually call it with "softskill tasks."
As you can see from the following title, well, I swear you've known what I wanna post about, ryt? Yup, 'sky lantern'. Did you know what is Sky Lantern? If you don't know, lucky you! Cause I'm gonna tell you about it.
Sky lantern is a small hot air balloon made of paper, with an opening at the bottom where a small fire is suspended. In Asia and elsewhere around the world, sky lanterns have been traditionally made for centuries, to be launched for play or as part of long-established festivities. Sky lanterns have also been referred to as sky candles or fire balloons. Sky lanterns (called Khoom Fay in Asia) were originally invented in China as a military signaling device. And they have been traditionally used in Asia ever since. Around the years, sky lanterns are slowly and gradually gaining reputation today. Lots of events like weddings, birthday events, and also Halloween use this kind of lantern as decorations due to the fact from the astonishment that it gives.
Sky Lanterns are perfect for any occasion. Sky lanterns create a magical moment that everyone loves, whether young or old. You can light one and see it fly into the sky, or even hundreds at a time. Best of all, they're perfect during the day or night. Actually, I haven't seen sky lantern yet. But, I've seen it from internet when I was browsing. The first time I knew it, I mostly felt like "Oh my God! It's so damn beautiful! I really love sky lantern!" Well, I know, I'm in love with sky lantern. When the lantern flies into the wind, sky lanterns can rise a mile or more and fly for miles in whatever direction the wind goes. They look like starlight in the night sky and they're truly perfect! In the sky, they will continue to rise and fly until the fuel pad burns out. Then they float gently down to earth.
Hmm well, I really want to release the sky lanterns. I want people or someone special make a surprise for me on my birthday or my wedding day or my special day with the lanterns. Honestly, I wanna write all my wishes on the sky lantern and release it into the night sky as a symbolic about all of my grateful, happiness, and hopefulness. And if I could, when I felt so sad, I also want to release sky lantern with all my sadness written on it and I think my sadness will take away together with the lanterns into the whole sky and I'll feel much better after that. But, I don't know, would my wishes become true or just my wishful thinking? Let's see! ;)
